    The decarboxylation aka (decarb) of cannabis stems and shake is the same process of decarbing cannabis buds. Decarboxylation is the process of activating the cannabinoids that include THC and other cannabis byproducts through the process of removing the carbon atoms from the cannabis. In laments terms, you need to heat the cannabis to activate the maximum potential potency. Once the cannabis stems and shake has been decarbed it is then ready to be extracted into butter, oil, or alcohol. It is important to note that you do not want to let cannabis bake over 230F/110C.  If it goes over the suggested temperature you run the risk of denaturing the THC to CBN, therefore, making it less potent and causing drowsiness. Kitchen Tools: Oven Grinder Oven Safe Dish Aluminum Foil Ingredients: cannabis stems and/or shake Directions: Start by preheating your oven to 220F/105C. Due to variances that occur over time to even the nicest of ovens please make sure to use a new or newer oven thermometer to ensure you are not exceeding 220F/105C.   • Magic Mushroom Powder Recipe - Shroomibles Edibles

    While you can grab a handful of shrooms and eat them as they are or with a handful of peanut butter candies with a colorful hard outer shell, you know the ones I'm talking about, for a consistent dose creating psilocybin powder is the easiest way to consume psilocybin, therefore, giving you more control over your overall experiences with shrooms. Not only does it provide more control through consistency but it also is the easiest way to dose. Creating psilocybin powder requires the mushrooms to be completely dry before being pulverized in a coffee grinder. Because the particles of the shrooms can get stick to the grinder blades of the coffee grinder is strongly advised to have a specific coffee grinder that is strictly for use with shrooms and properly labeled. 3 Ways to Dry Out Shrooms 1. Leave the fresh shrooms out on a towel to dry Lay the shrooms evenly out on a towel to dry or to decrease the dry time you can also use a fan set to low pointing to the shrooms. 2. Using a food dehydrator set to low This is the best option for drying out shrooms without losing potency like you would with drying in the oven. This is also the best choice for those who are in humid climates. 3. The old school tried-and-true method Wrap the mushrooms in a dark cloth and leave them in the sun or in front of a fan for a few hours until the shrooms become wrinkly. With the shrooms in this state, they can be stored for a few weeks. For longer storage, take the wrinkled and rubbery shrooms and create an epsom salt desiccant. An epsom salt desiccant is created when you fill the bottom of a pan with an even amount of the epsom and bake at 250F/120C for 2 hours. Remove the epsom salt from the oven, and smash with a hammer and place the hot desiccant into separate storage containers with airtight lids. It is important to do the last steps quickly, as the desiccant will begin absorbing the moisture in the air as soon as it is removed from the oven. Once the storage containers have the bottoms layered with the desiccant, lay a paper towel over the top and place a mesh screen place on top. Evenly layer the pre-dried mushrooms on the screen and place with the air-tight fitting lid. Store the containers in a cool, dark, dry place and check on the shrooms every few days. When the mushrooms are cracker dry they are ready to be transferred to a sandwich baggie or in a jar with an air-tight lid. This method requires much patience as it takes a few weeks to reach full dryness. Both mushrooms and truffles can be stored in an airtight container with a tight-fitting lid in a cool, dark, dry place for a few years without losing potency in these conditions. Turning your dried psilocybin mushrooms into a powder is by far the best way to yield the most consistent psilocybin microdose. By grinding your mushrooms up together, you homogenize the variance in psilocybin content between caps and stems, and from shroom to shroom. How Much Powdered Mushroom Should I Use? Use a digital scale that weighs 0.1 grams to weigh out the fully dried mushrooms you intend to turn into powder. Knowing the weight of the mushrooms prior to pulverizing helps reduce the loss of mushroom powder from transferring from container to container and will make it easier to measure out how much you need for your next dose. The low density of the psilocybin powder causes the powder to disperse into the air while handling it. Try not to shake or knock the container the powdered psilocybin in is and be mindful to not breathe too hard as your breath can blow the powder and or the powdered psilocybin can be inhaled through your mouth or nose. If you weigh out 4 grams it will yield 20 microdoses of 0.2 grams powdered psilocybin. Microdosing is about 1/10 of a standard dose of 2 grams - 5 grams. Truffles contain less psilocybin than mushrooms then microdosing would require 0.5 to 1 gram of powdered magic truffles. These dosing suggestions are just that they are suggestions. It is important to remember when dosing with mushrooms or truffles that every individual will have their own unique experience from each other as psilocybin will have greater or lesser effects on each person due to their neurophysiology, weight, and the potency of the psilocybin. It is suggested to be patient and start off with a micro or low dose in order to set a base dose to help you decide if you would like to take more or less shrooms depending on the effects the microdose had on you.

  • Easy Crockpot Cannabis Butter Cannabutter Recipe

    This recipe is by far one of the easiest cannabis infusion methods out there. This cannabutter recipe truly is a set it and forget it recipe perfect for either the newbie cannabis home cook or long time cannabutter master chef. While it takes quite some time to cook it is basically failure-proof. Follow this crockpot cannabis butter recipe for some seriously easy and potent cannabutter. Prep Time: 20 - 30 minutes depending on grinding time Cook Time: 6+ Hours Serving Size: 1 teaspoon Serves About 40 Kitchen Tools: Cheesecloth Grinder 2 large bowls Ingredients: 1 ounce/28 grams of decarbed cannabis buds or shake.  If using leaves or stems, use 2 ounces or 56 grams. (Learn how to decarboxylate your cannabis by clicking here) 1 pound/450–500 grams of unsalted butter or ghee (ghee uses no water causing the THC to be better absorbed allowing for a more potent end product) 2 cups of water Directions: Chop the butter or ghee into small cubes and place them into the slow cooker on warm or low heat. If using butter, add 2 cups of water to the butter in the crockpot. Stir occasionally while waiting for the butter or ghee to melt completely. Once the butter or ghee is completely melted stir the cannabis into the crockpot making sure to get all the kief. Tightly cover and cook on the lowest setting to not exceed 220F cook more than 6 hours, but not to exceed 24 hours. Place a double-folded cheesecloth over the top of a large bowl or container and secure with rubber bands. Pour the cannabutter into the bowl or container, filtering out all the plant material in the cannabutter. Squeeze out any remaining butter from the cheesecloth. Your hands will be dripping in cannabutter, so prepare yourself in any way you see fit. If cooking for others, please use latex-free rubber gloves. Pour the butter into desired cannabutter shapes or leave in the bowl or container and refrigerate until the cannabutter solidifies. Once your cannabutter has solidified, there will be some separation.  Pour out the excess liquid from the butter. The cannabutter is now ready for consumption on a slice of toast, grilled cheese, or any other recipe you may want to try that uses butter. Prep Time: Up to 7 days Ingredients: 1-ounce cannabis, ground and decarbed 750ml bottle 190 proof (or higher) grain alcohol Directions: Place the cannabis into a 1-quart jar and add 2 cups of alcohol. Seal the jar tightly and shake well. Store in the freezer. Shake the jar at least 3 times a day for 3-7 days. Filter the contents of the mason jar and transfer the cannabis tincture to a freezer-safe glass jar with a tight-fitting lid. Store in the freezer away from flames and children. Add the garlic and onion. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the mixture become fragrant. Next, add the broccoli, mushrooms, and red peppers. Sauté for about 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender. In a medium bowl whisk the eggs and milk until well blended. Pour the egg mixture into the hot pan with the sautéed vegetables. With the shrooms in this state, they can be stored for a few weeks. For longer storage take the wrinkled and rubbery shrooms and create an epsom salt desiccant. An epsom salt desiccant is created when you fill the bottom of a pan with an even amount of epsom and bake at 250F/120C and bake for 2 hours. Remove the epsom salt from the oven, smash with a hammer, and place the hot desiccant into separate storage containers with air-tight fitting lids. It is important to do the last steps quickly as the desiccant will begin absorbing the moisture in the air as soon as it is removed from the oven. Once the storage containers have the bottoms layered with the desiccant a paper towel should be layered followed by a mesh screen placed on top. Evenly layer the pre-dried mushrooms on the screen and place with the air-tight fitting lid. Store the containers in a cool, dark, dry place and check on the mushrooms every few days. When the mushrooms are cracker dry they are ready to be transferred to a sandwich baggie or in a jar with an air-tight lid. Always Use The Appropriate Storage Container Glass Jar While glass is king when storing your cannabis this is not the same for some types of dabs.  Glass will cause the stickier concentrates to stick to the glass, which is great for nectar collector use but not so great for storing your shatter concentrate stash for the long haul.   Glass is great for your live resin and budder concentrates which are far less sticky than shatter or wax.  For long term storage, it's important to use glass jars that can be vacuum sealed and stored in a cool dark place. Silicone Jar A silicone dab container is one of the most versatile containers for storing your cannabis concentrates allowing you to easily get any type of concentrate in and out of the container whether it's sticky icky wax or a less sticky type such as the budder.  However, it is important to note that silicone is not great for long term storage and you shouldn't keep your dabs in silicone for more than a week.  You also want to make sure the silicone dab container you purchase or are currently using is made of high-quality medical-grade silicone for sanitation and contamination reasons. Parchment Paper Parchment paper is great for making at home dabs using the rosin technique and can be used for short term storage for the stickier dabs like wax and your homemade rosin.  When using parchment paper to store your dabs it is important to make sure you are using a large enough piece of parchment paper to fold your dabs into enough to keep from contamination from the outside world like dog hair or dust particles. For short term storage keep your tightly folded dabs in a cool dark place.  For storing your dabs for a few weeks place your parchment paper folded dabs in an airtight container away from light and air.  For extended storage place, your parchment paper wrapped dabs in an airtight container and place in the freezer.  When freezing remove from the freezer and allow the dabs to reach room temperature before cutting the seal, doing this before it reaches room temperature could cause condensation build up in the container contaminating the dabs.  When using parchment paper to store your dabs it is important to note that dabs such as the oils which have a more liquid consistency should not be stored using this method and should be kept in a container.  If you want to store crumble it should also be mentioned that the use of parchment paper is not a good option as it may become flattened, this should be stored in an airtight container. Overview on Storing Extracts Properly Consider yourself a little more educated on proper extract storage, now it's time to put what you know into action and efficiently store your dabs.  Don't forget to keep in mind how long you'll be storing your concentrates for, how much you have to store, and the type of dab you're storing.  Silicone is great for short term storage, parchment is great for long-term storage (especially if you freeze it) and glass jars are great for the oleoresins and oils. If a package is caught by USPS, UPS, DHL, or FedEx the package will most likely be given to an investigator because they are then knowingly or intentionally distributing a controlled substance. What is the Statute of Limitations of Drug Distribution? If the package has made it to the delivery address without any issues, then most likely there hasn't been an investigation set in motion. An investigation will most likely take place on larger and more frequent mailing operations. Smaller operations are usually only targeted when there has been someone snitching. The statute of limitations for cannabis distribution is 5 years. Different drugs and circumstances involving death or minors the limitation period may be longer than 5 years. The laws are different for each circumstance and will need to be reviewed by the specific details. Is it a Crime to Receive Cannabis in the Mail? Yes, it is a crime to knowingly receive a package containing cannabis or cannabis edibles, especially if it is traced to someone you know or if you shipped them to yourself. It is possible that the package has made it through the mail system without being detected, but it is also a very real possibility that the package was detected and there is an ongoing investigation and the package is being watched under surveillance. This is unlikely if it is a small amount of cannabis. Until cannabis has been legalized on the federal level and across all 50 states, it is an incredibly bad idea to ship or receive cannabis or cannabis edibles. Until all 50 states and the federal government have set up their taxation rules, cannabis will remain illegal to ship.

  • Cannabis Infused Cherry Honey Sauce

    Dark cherries marinated in cannabis infused honey is a delicious option for ice cream toppings, over warm cannabis waffles, or over a powder sugar covered funnel cake! Prep Time: 5 minutes Serves 2 Ingredients: 1 cup cannabis infused honey 1/2 cup frozen dark cherries Directions: Remove the cherries from the freezer and rinse with cold water. Pat dry with a paper towel and transfer to a bowl. Drizzle the cherries with cannahoney and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving. Please note it is suggested that you prepared this recipe one to 2 days ahead for the best results.

  • Concentrate Infused Butter and Oil - CannaButter or Cannaoil Concentrate Edibles Recipe

    Concentrate infused butter, oil, and tinctures have a more subtle cannabis flavor that won’t overpower the flavors of your kitchen creations. Concentrate infused butter and oils are usually stronger than your typical cannabis flower infusions.  Use with caution. Cooking Tools: Small saucepan or pot Whisk Small glass bowl or storage container with an air-tight lid Ingredients: 1-gram concentrates, decarbed 1 cup butter or coconut oil Directions: Heat your coconut oil over low heat until completely melted. Add the decarbed concentrates, stirring until completely dissolved. Do not allow to bubble, this will decrease the potency. Once the concentrates have been completely dissolved remove from heat and pour into a clean glass jar with an air-tight lid. Important Information: Storage Tip: Wrap your concentrate butter or oil in an airtight container and keep it in the fridge for a few weeks or in the freezer for up to 6 months. When dosing it is strongly suggested that you start off with a very small serving so you can see what your base high will be like and to make an informed decision on if you should lower or up your dosage. Use with caution! Never allow your concentrated butter/oil to exceed medium-low heat as it will degrade the THC due to high heat killing the potency. You can use salted butter, but unsalted butter is strongly suggested, particularly if you are using the concentrate infused butter for baking.

  • Cannabis Butter - Stove Top CannaButter Edibles Recipe

    This recipe is the one I followed my first time making cannabutter.  I prefer the crockpot method, but this recipe will do if you do not have a crockpot.  2 ounces decarboxylated leaves, stems or trim or 4 ounces pre-vaped cannabis can be substituted for the one-ounce cannabis buds. Prep Time: 30 minutes Cook Time: 5 Hours Difficulty: Easy Kitchen Tools: Large saucepan or pot Whisk Large glass bowl or storage container Cheesecloth Plastic Wrap Rubber Bands Ingredients: 1 ounce decarboxylated and coarsely ground cannabis 1 pound or 4 sticks butter (unsalted is best for baking) 2 cups of water Directions: Chop butter into cubes and place into a large saucepan with 2 cups water and bring to a rolling simmer just before it boiling over medium heat until butter is completely melted occasionally stirring to allow the butter to melt more quickly. Once the butter has melted, add the ground cannabis, and reduce the heat to low.  Bring the cannabutter to a bare simmer. Do not allow the cannabutter to boil! The cannabutter should have a little movement with a bubble here and there. Leave the cannabutter on a slow simmer for 5 hours, stirring every so often. Double fold the cheesecloth and place inside the large bowl or storage container holding the cheesecloth in place with rubber bands. Pour the cannabutter over the cheesecloth into the bowl or storage container filtering out the cannabis plant material from the butter. Remove the cheesecloth from the bowl and squeeze the butter from the rest of the cannabis plant material. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.  I suggest letting the cannabutter refrigerate overnight. Once the butter has solidified, pour off the excess water and remove the cannabutter from the bowl and into a lidded glass jar for proper storage. The cannabutter is now ready for use in any recipe using butter or even just on a slice of toast!

  • Easy Cannaoil - Cannabis Infused Oil Edibles Recipe

    This recipe is essential for any edible's lover. Use a high-quality non-GMO, coconut, sunflower, or olive oil will make your cannoli all that more healthy.  If you are making this cannaoil recipe for medicinal reasons, coconut oil is strongly advised. While I do not suggest using canola oil, it will still absorb the THC. Kitchen Tools: Large saucepan or pot Whisk Glass jar with lid Cheesecloth Ingredients: 1 ounce/28g decarboxylated ground cannabis or 2 ounces decarboxylated leaves, stems or trim or 4 ounces ABV (already been vaped) 1 cup oil (coconut, olive, grapeseed, or sunflower) Directions: In a large saucepan over low heat, warm the oil. Stir in the cannabis. Allow the cannaoil to barely simmer for 3 hours while stirring every 30 minutes. Double fold the cheesecloth and place it inside the storage container.  Hold the cheesecloth in place with rubber bands if necessary. Pour the cannaoil over the cheesecloth into the storage container, filtering the cannabis plant material from the cannaoil. Remove the cheesecloth and squeeze the cannaoil from the rest of the cannabis plant material. Transfer the cannaoil into a glass jar with a lid. Recipe Notes: When dosing it is strongly suggested that you start off with one teaspoon cannaoil or cannabutter so you can get a feel for what your base high will be like. Use this test dose to decide if you should ingest more than 1 teaspoon at a time. Never allow your cannabis butter to exceed low to medium heat as the THC will degrade due to high heat killing your cannaoil potency. Keep the cannaoil in an airtight glass jar with a lid in a cool dark place for up to 6 months.

  • How to Decarboxylate Cannabis - Activate THC Decarb Cannabis

    The decarboxylation aka (decarb) of cannabis is the process of activating the cannabinoids that include THC and other marijuana byproducts through the process of removing the carbon atoms from cannabis. In laments terms, you need to heat the cannabis to active its potency.  Once your buds are decarbed they are ready for extracting into butter, oil, or alcohol. It’s important to note that you do not want to let your buds bake over 220F.  If temperatures reach over 230F/110F, then the THC will denature into CBN making the cannabis less psychoactive and it will also cause sleepiness. Kitchen Tools: Oven Sharp Grinder An Oven Safe Dish Aluminum Foil Ingredients: 1 oz of cannabis Directions: Start by preheating your oven to 220F/110C. Due to variances that occur overtime to even the nicest of ovens please make sure to use a new or newer oven thermometer to ensure you are not exceeding 220F/110C. Next, grind the cannabis to the consistency of how you would grind your weed for a blunt or joint. You do not want the cannabis to be too fine or too coarse. Spread the cannabis evenly onto an oven-safe dish. Seal tightly with the aluminum foil. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes at 220F. *Please Note: the 40 minute bake time is based on using 1 single ounce of cannabis, if you are using 2 ounces of cannabis you will need to bake it for approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. Cannabis Decarboxylation Equation 40 Minutes x Ounces of Cannabis Flower = Bake Time Once the cannabis has finished baking, allow the oven dish to cool down completely BEFORE removing the oven.     Perfect for a bowl of cereal, a delightful addition to your coffee, or use in any recipe that calls for milk. This cannabis milk has endless uses.  Try infusing a heavy whipping cream to prepare amazing whipped cream and ice cream recipes!  Make this recipe even easier by using a small crockpot set to warm for 45 minutes! Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 45 minutes Ingredients: 1 ounce decarboxylated cannabis 1 cup whole milk or heavy whipping cream Directions: In a pan over low heat, add milk and cannabis and allow to simmer on low heat for 45 minutes. Strain through a cheesecloth into a large bowl.  Squeeze excess cannamilk from the cheesecloth. Pour into a container uncovered and store in the refrigerator. Cool completely before using the cannamilk.

  • 10 Minute CannaSugar - Cannabis Infused Sugar Recipe

    Sprinkle this cannasugar over your morning waffles, or use the cannasugar to make homemade sugar donuts. Try a spoonful of this sugar into your morning coffee.  If you prefer granulated sugar, then simply press the baked sugar through a sieve with a spoon instead of putting it through the food processor. Prep Time: 10 minutes Makes 1 cup Ingredients: 1 cup granulated sugar 1 tablespoon cannabis tincture Directions: Preheat the oven to 200F/95C. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cannabis tincture. Spread the cannabis sugar mix evenly on a baking pan and bake for roughly 20 minutes. If using an alcohol-based tincture and a gas oven, leave the oven door slightly ajar as the trapped alcohol vapors will most likely cause an explosion if they are trapped in the oven. It is strongly suggested to allow the cannasugar to air-dry overnight, loosely covered on a baking sheet. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Place the cannabis sugar in a food processor and blend until desired consistency. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.

  • Weed Wine Recipe

    Weed wine has been around for quite some time with a few variations on the preparation method. In my opinion, this method is the easiest of them all. You can find it already prepared in some dispensaries but who doesn't love to make their own cannabis-infused kitchen concoctions.  Substitute the cannabis flower with hemp flower to create CBD infused wine instead! Prep Time: 5 minutes Sit Time: 3-14 days Ingredients: 1-ounce cannabis flower, decarbed - learn the decarb process here 1 cup of dry red or dry white wine Directions: Make cannabis tea bags with cheesecloth by twisting the wrapped cannabis and tying the cheesecloth in a knot. Pour the wine into a mason jar and add the cannabis tea bags and twist on the airtight lid. Chill the wine in the fridge for at least 3 days to allow the alcohol to extract the THC out of the cannabis buds. Gently shake or stir the bottle of wine every few hours every day to maximize the potency of the cannawine. After the wine has sat for at least 3 days remove the cannabis tea bags. Wring out the excess liquid from the tea bags to increase potency and store the used teabags for your next cup of hot tea or sangria. Enjoy your homemade cannabis-infused wine and remember to use caution when ingesting mixing alcohol with THC.   Always keep away from children.

  • How to Decarb CBD Flower

    The decarboxylation aka (decarb) of CBD (cannabidiol)  is the process of activating the cannabinoids by removing the carbon atoms from the plant.  Once your buds are decarbed they are ready for creating butter, oils, and extractions. It’s important to note that you do not want to bake over 220F.  If the CBD is baked at a higher temperature, you risk denaturing the CBD making it less effective. Right now, we’re going to go over the decarbing method using your oven. Kitchen Tools: Oven Sharp Grinder An Oven Safe Dish Aluminum Foil Ingredients: 1 ounce CBD flower Directions: Preheat oven to 220F. Due to variances that occur over time to even the nicest of ovens please make sure to use a new or newer oven thermometer to ensure you are not exceeding 220F. Grind the CBD flower and remove stems/seeds if necessary. Evenly spread ground CBD onto an oven-safe dish. Seal tightly with aluminum foil. Bake in the oven for 1 hour and 20 minutes @ 220F. *Please Note: the 1 hour 20 minute bake time is based on using 1 single ounce of CBD flower. If you are using 2 ounces of CBD flower, you will need to bake it for approximately 2 hours 40 minutes. If you are using cannabis with THC over 0.3% use the cannabis decarboxylation method! Click here! The CBD Decarboxylation Equation 1 Hour 20 minutes x Ounces of CBD Flower  = Bake Time Once the flower has finished baking allow it to cool completely BEFORE removing the aluminum foil. Your CBD is now completely decarboxylated, fully active, and ready to use in any type of recipe. Enjoy!

  • Cannabis Honey CannaHoney Edibles Recipe

    This cannabis and honey infusion is quick, easy, and perfect for drizzling over strawberries, making a cannabis-infused honey chicken or you can totally get away with eating a spoonful by itself.  For best results you should use a good cloudy honey from a local beekeeper. The cloudiness in the honey is beeswax which is necessary for the cannabinoids to bind too. Cook Time: 1 hour Makes 1 cup Skill Level: Easy Ingredients: 1 cup honey 1-ounce ground cannabis, decarbed Directions: In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, add honey and cannabis. Allow the cannabis honey to simmer for about one hour; stir occasionally. Place a double-folded cheesecloth over the top of a large bowl or container and secure with rubber bands. Pour the cannahoney through the filter. Squeeze out any remaining cannahoney from the cheesecloth. Your hands will be dripping in cannahoney, so prepare yourself in any way you see fit. If cooking for others, please use latex-free rubber gloves. Cook’s Notes: Store in an airtight container in a cool dark place for 4 - 8 weeks

  • 2 Step Cannabis Flour Recipe - CannaFlour

    CannaFlour is super easy to make and even easier to use! CannaFlour can be used just as you would use cannabis free flour! Use cannaflour to coat chicken, or the next time you decide to make a batch of brownies, or the next time you bake homemade bread. There’s no need to worry about filtering the cannabis after extracting either! Prep Time: 5 minutes Makes 1 cup Ingredients: 1 cup flour 3.5 grams cannabis, decarbed Directions: Pulverize the decarboxylated cannabis into a powder. In a small bowl, add the cannabis and flour. Blend well. The cannaflour is now ready to be used just as you would use cannabis free flour.
