Cannabis Honey CannaHoney Edibles Recipe

This cannabis and honey infusion is quick, easy, and perfect for drizzling over strawberries, making a cannabis-infused honey chicken or you can totally get away with eating a spoonful by itself.  For best results you should use a good cloudy honey from a local beekeeper. The cloudiness in the honey is beeswax which is necessary for the cannabinoids to bind too.

Cook Time: 1 hour

Makes 1 cup

Ingredients:

• 1 cup honey

• 1-ounce ground cannabis, decarbed

Directions:

1. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, add honey and cannabis.

2. Allow the cannabis honey to simmer for about one hour; stir occasionally. 

3. Place a double-folded cheesecloth over the top of a large bowl or container and secure with rubber bands.

4. Pour the cannahoney through the filter.  

5. Squeeze out any remaining cannahoney from the cheesecloth. Your hands will be dripping in cannahoney, so prepare yourself in any way you see fit. If cooking for others, please use latex-free rubber gloves.  

Cook’s Notes: Store in an airtight container in a cool dark place for 4 - 8 weeks
