I love cannabis and I love honey whiskey and so I combined my love for both into a perfect breakfast or brunch with this yummy french toast topped with cannabis-infused honey whiskey. If you can't get your hands on honey whiskey substitute with whiskey and a generous amount of cannabis-infused honey! Make this recipe even easier when you use frozen french toast. If you make this recipe without the whiskey syrup, add cinnamon and vanilla extract to the egg and milk mixture to spice up the plain french toast slices.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
3 medium bananas, sliced
8 slices of thick-cut bread
1/2 cup cannamilk
4 tablespoons butter
In a medium saucepot over medium-low heat add the cannabis honey whiskey syrup and add the bananas. Reduce the heat to a low simmer just as the syrup begins to bubble. Stir occasionally.
In a shallow medium bowl or pan add the eggs and cannamilk, beat until well blended.
In a pan over medium-low heat, melt butter.
Soak each side of the bread slice in the egg mixture and add the bread to the hot pan. Flip when the facedown side has turned golden brown. Repeat this step until all the french toast has been cooked.
Place 2 slices of french toast on each plate and top with equal amounts of the cannabis honey whiskey syrup.
