This whiskey syrup is quick and easy to make and is perfect on a stack of buttermilk pancakes or as a glaze on chicken. Try using a honey whiskey to really bring this recipe alive.
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Makes 1-1/4 cup
Skill Level: Easy
1/2 cup whiskey
1/2 cup cannabutter, halved
1/4 cup brown sugar
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, pour in the whiskey and add half of the cannabutter. Stir continuously until the butter has melted.
Stir in the brown sugar until it has melted.
Add the rest of the cannabutter.
Stir constantly until the sauce has reached the desired consistency.
Cook’s Notes: Store in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
