Some days are made for making chocolate peanut butter cups while wearing an oversized t-shirt, your favorite pair of granny panties, tube socks, messy hair, makeup down your face, and your favorite Flatbush Zombies album playing on full blast.
Prep Time: 15
Cook Time: 10 minutes
1 cup cocoa powder
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup cannaoil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
Trim 12 paper muffin cup liners to half of their height.
In a saucepan over low heat whisk together the cocoa powder, cannaoil, honey, and salt until the ingredients are well combined. Remove from heat.
Spoon the melted chocolate into the muffin cups, filling each cup halfway. Use a spoon to draw the chocolate up the sides of the cups until evenly coated. Cool in the refrigerator until firm.
In a small bowl, mix together peanut butter, confectioners’ sugar, and salt.
Evenly add the peanut butter mixture into the center of the cooled chocolate cups.
Reheat the remaining chocolate mixture and spoon over peanut butter. Spread chocolate to edges of the cups.
Lightly cover the peanut butter cups and allow the chocolate to set in the refrigerator for 1 hour or in the freezer for 10 minutes.
