There's a ton of cannabis churro recipes out there but the ones I've come across expect you to bake instead of fry the churro dough.  For me, that just won't work so I came up with a recipe that covered the fried churros in cannabis sugar!  Whip up a batch of our cannabis chocolate ganache for extra potency!

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Serves 6

Skill Level: Easy

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix together cinnamon and cannabis sugar in a small bowl and set aside.

  2. In a heavy medium saucepan add the milk, butter, sugar, and salt.

  3. Bring to a boil stirring until the sugar dissolves and the butter melts.

  4.  Reduce the heat to medium-low.

  5. Add the flour stirring vigorously for about 1 minute until a shiny dough mass forms.

  6. Transfer to a large bowl and allow to cool for 5 minutes.

  7. Once cooled use an electric mixer to beat in the eggs 1 at a time.

  8. Continue beating until a smooth, shiny, sticky paste forms.

  9. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  10. Spoon batter into a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip. Pipe batter into hot oil in 3 1/2- to 4-inch-long ribbons (use a knife if necessary, to cut batter at end of star tip).

  11. Fry churros until golden brown and cooked through in the center for about 2 minutes per side.

  12. Transfer cooked churros to paper towels and allow to cool for 5 minutes.

  13. Toss in cannabis cinnamon sugar to coat.

  14. Serve warm with cannabis chocolate ganache.
