The ultimate stoner comfort food, classic Cheeseburger Hamburger Helper elevated with cannabutter. Simple, satisfying, and ready in 30 minutes. Sometimes the best edibles come in a box.

Ingredients
1 box Cheeseburger Hamburger Helper
1 pounds lean ground beef
2 tablespoons cannabutter
1 tablespoons regular unsalted butter
2.5 cups water
1 cups whole milk
Steps
Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat cook 1 pounds lean ground beef breaking it up as it browns. Drain excess fat once fully cooked.
Add Regular Butter: Reduce heat to medium. Add 1 tablespoons regular unsalted butter (regular butter, NOT the cannabutter yet) to the cooked beef and stir to combine.
Add Water, Milk, and the Sauce Mix: Add 2.5 cups water and 1 cups whole milk to the skillet along with the sauce mix packet from the 1 box Cheeseburger Hamburger Helper box. Stir everything together until the sauce mix is fully dissolved.
Add the Pasta and Simmer: Stir in the pasta from the 1 box Cheeseburger Hamburger Helper box. Bring the mixture to a boil then reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce has thickened.
Remove from Heat and Cool Slightly: Remove the skillet from heat and allow to cool for 3 minutes. This step is important, you never want to add cannabutter to a boiling or very hot dish as high heat degrades THC and will greatly reduce the potency.
Stir in the Cannabutter: Add 2 tablespoons cannabutter to the skillet and stir gently until fully melted and evenly incorporated throughout the dish.
Serve immediately and enjoy responsibly!
Notes
Dosing: The cannabutter is the only infused ingredient in this recipe. Potency depends entirely on the strength of your cannabutter, you can swap this for cannabis infused oil if you would like. This recipe makes 4 servings so factor your dose accordingly. Always label infused dishes and never serve to unsuspecting guests.
Low heat is key: Once you add the cannabutter keep the heat low. High heat degrades THC so patience is your friend here.
Make it extra cheesy: Stir in an extra handful of shredded cheddar at the end for a richer, creamier result.
Leftovers: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat low and slow on the stovetop with a splash of milk to loosen it up.
