Concentrate Dosage Equation

Updated: Feb 24, 2021

Dosing used to be confusing to me until this knowledgeable and very patient fella in a Facebook group walked me through the equation step by step. Unless you get your stuff tested in a licensed lab, there is no knowing how strong your edibles are.

Concentrate Dosage Equation:

Concentrate Potency Percentage x 100 = Number of Milligrams

Milligrams/48 teaspoons = Milligrams of THC per one teaspoon dose

*Example using a concentrate with 86% THC to make 1 cup concentrate infused oil or butter.

Please note there are 48 teaspoons in a single cup.

86% x 100 = 860mg

860mg/48 teaspoons = 17.92mg of THC per one teaspoon dose
