Mashed potatoes are a holiday staple and well a classic childhood side dish that most kids, even those with food aversions, loved. These simple cannabis mashed potatoes have understated flavors that blend well with the earthy tones of cannabis.

Cook Time: 25 minutes
6-8 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
1/2 cup cannabutter
1/4 cup salt
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
1 cup cannamilk, more or less depending upon the desired consistency
Place the potatoes in a large pot and fill the pot with water. Place the pot on the stove and set the temperature to high, bring to a boil. Cook uncovered for 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender enough to slide a fork through. Carefully strain the potatoes and allow to sit for 5 minutes.
Transfer the potatoes to a large mixing bowl and add the cannabutter, salt and pepper. Mash the potatoes while adding a splash of cannabis milk every so often until the potatoes have reached the desired consistency.
