I love nothing more than cannabis cinnamon apple's simmering on my stove as the aroma begins to take over my home on a crisp fall day. Plus, this edibles recipe is easy AF and will have your mind, body, and soul feeling lifted.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time:
Serves 4
Ingredients:
4 apples, cored and thickly sliced
2 tablespoons cannabutter
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup cannahoney
1 tablespoon cinnamon, extra for garnish
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon salt
2-3 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Directions:
Place the apples and butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat and toss until cannabutter has melted and has completely coated the apples.
In a large measuring cup or spouted mixing bowl, add the water, cannahoney, cinnamon, allspice, salt, cornstarch, and apple cider vinegar. Mix until the ingredient are well incorporated.
Pour the cannahoney mixture over the apple slices and toss until the apples are covered in the cannahoney mixture. Cover the apples with a tight-fitting lid and allow the apples to barely simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Once the apples are easily pierced with a fork serve immediately over ice cream, waffles, or on their own!
